Frances A. Hess, 101, of Scott City went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013.
She was born Aug. 31, 1911, in the township of Kelso, Mo. She lived most of her life in Scott City.
Frances was a seamstress. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and quilting.
She is survived by three sons, Francis Westrich and wife Marie of Danville, Ind., Andrew Westrich of Springfield, Mo., and Paul (Yvonne) Crader of Scott City; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Mary Hess; three sisters; three brothers; and two daughters-in-law, Judith Westrich and Diane Crader.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery in Kelso.
