Funeral for Frances Hanusa of Cape Girardeau will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Roger Leveillee will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the chapel after 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Hanusa, 81, died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Aug. 1, 1919, in Albern, Czechoslovakia, daughter of Joseph and Franziska Moldaschl Tempsch. She and Helmut Hanusa were married Oct. 7, 1943, in Germany.
Mrs. Hanusa had worked at Ochs Gift and Flower Shop. She was a member of Kage Homemakers Club, German Club of Southeast Missouri, German Culture Society, past member of Cape Girardeau Garden Club and American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Lotar and wife Barbara Hanusa of Pittsburgh, Pa., Rolf and wife Lareesa Hanusa of Belleville, Ill.; five grandchildren, Christopher Hanusa of Pittsburgh, Cassie and Eric Hanusa of Belleville, Evan and Maxwell Hanusa of Pittsburgh.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
