FRANCES H. EVANS

SIKESTON -- Frances H. Evans, 87, Sikeston Route 2, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 1994, at Miner Nursing Center.

She was born Jan. 13, 1907, in McMullin, daughter of Henry and Eva Winders Yeakey. She and Roy V. Evans were married Dec. 18, 1926, at Bloomfield. He died April 16, 1975.

Survivors include two sons, Tommy and Norman Evans of Sikeston; a daughter, Carolyn Duff of Sikeston; two brothers, Earnest Yeakey of Austin, Texas, Ray Yeakey of Warren, Mich.; 12 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and a great-granddaughter.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lee Fansler officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
