Frances S. Feigenspan, 103, formerly of Jefferson City, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005, at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 13, 1902, at Fulton, Mo., daughter of Ben L. and Lula Beaven Stewart. She and J.J. Feigenspan were married May 30, 1925, in Kirksville, Mo. He died July 3, 1987.
Feigenspan was a 1921 graduate of Jefferson City High School. She attended Warrensburg State Teachers College and Kirksville State Teachers College.
She was a second-grade teacher at Moreau Heights School from 1923 to 1925. She was a member of First Christian Church and its Lois Circle, and Jefferson Chapter 496 Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly King of Cape Girardeau, Dorothy Walters of Tucson, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Freeman Mortuary in Jefferson City from 1 p.m. to service time Saturday.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Donald Carter and Barbara Gulick officiating. Entombment will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
