FRANCES E. BOYEL

JACKSON -- Frances E. Boyel, 88, of Jackson, died at Southeast Missouri Hospital Thursday, April 16, 1992.

She was born in Grundy County, Mo., June 28, 1903. daughter of George H. Titcomb and Carrie Shelton Titcomb.

She married Glen Boyel June 20, 1928, He preceded her in death on Dec. 30, 1987.

She is survived by a son, George H. Boyel of St. Charles; daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Swope, Carol Stream, Ill.; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

She was a graduate of Stevens College, Columbia, and taught school one year. She was a member of the New McKendree Methodist Church, the Thursday Literary Club, PEO Chapter DJ; Jackson Rotary Anns; Ladies Circle and the Country Club Bridge Club.

Service will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson, with the Rev. Otto Steinhaus officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
