ST. LOUIS -- Frances Earlene Busby of St. Louis, formerly of Jackson, was born April 12, 1937, in Van Buren, Missouri, to Earl and Ethel Parkhill McSpadden and entered into rest Tuesday, June 16, 2020, in St. Louis at the age of 83 years, 2 months and 4 days.

Frances attended and graduated school in Jackson, where she met her first husband, Walter Sebastian, who passed away in a car accident. She married Linny Clark, and they had their two sons -- Brian, born in 1962, and Bradley, born in 1965.

Frances moved to St. Louis and started her career at Maritz. Upon her retirement, she was the senior mail clerk.

She enjoyed reading, crochet, watching old western movies and horses. Frances loved the water; she liked boating, swimming and skiing. Additionally, she loved riding her motorcycle for a poker run and playing the slot machines in St. Charles, Missouri. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Brian Lane Busby.

She is survived by her son, Bradley Clark Busby of St. Louis; brother, David (Benette) McSpadden of Jackson; nephew, David Lynn McSpadden of St. Louis; and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. June 27 at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30 in Cedar Hill, Missouri. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
