HAYWOOD CITY -- Floyd Wiley, 63, of Haywood City died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born May 17, 1936, at Gray Ridge, son of Thomas Charles and Emma Phifer Wiley.
Wiley retired from Arvin Automotive in Dexter, where he worked 21 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Leota Johnson and Lisa Turner of Sikeston, Kim Whipple of Milwaukee, Wis.; two sons, James Richardson of East St. Louis, Ill., Marshon McGuire of Sikeston; six stepdaughters, Patricia Fort of Haywood City, Mae Jones, Linda Cole and Bettie Johnson of Sikeston, Rhonda Johnson of Atlanta, Ga., and Ceola Larry with the U.S. Army in Germany.
Also surviving are two brothers, Manuel Wiley of Haywood City, Eddie Wiley of Mt. Vernon, N.Y.; a sister, Thelma Oliver of Mt. Vernon; a friend, Rosie Johnson of Sikeston; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home in Sikeston from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Alex Simms will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
