PARMA -- Funeral service for Floyd "Pete" Wells of Parma was held Friday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Parma. The Revs. Tom Hall and Vernon Miller officiated, with burial in Malden Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
Wells, 76, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 1994, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 2, 1917, at Malden, son of Charlie and Flora Hutchcraft Wells.
Wells moved to Parma 10 years ago from Poplar Bluff. He attended the Assembly of God Church here.
Survivors include two stepdaughters, Wanda Miller of Neelyville, Brenda Drowns of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Jay Wells of Sikeston; seven sisters, Ethel Hill of Gideon, Elsie Tate of South Lyon, Mich., Sam Perucca of Collinsville, Ill., Boe Emmons of Crystal City, Wilma Strong of Belleville, Ill., Hester Chalk and Loeda Hain of Parma; six grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.
