Floyd Robert Keesee, 83, of 214 S. Park, died Friday, March 26, 1993, at his home. He was born Dec. 28, 1909, in Blodgett, son of Tom and Mary Shrum Kessee. He was married to Mabel L. Foeste, on Nov. 11, 1933, in Cairo, Ill. She died June 12, 1988. He worked as a barge tanker man for Gulf Oil Company for 29 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau...

Floyd Robert Keesee, 83, of 214 S. Park, died Friday, March 26, 1993, at his home.

He was born Dec. 28, 1909, in Blodgett, son of Tom and Mary Shrum Kessee.

He was married to Mabel L. Foeste, on Nov. 11, 1933, in Cairo, Ill. She died June 12, 1988.

He worked as a barge tanker man for Gulf Oil Company for 29 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a step-son, Earl Nabe of Cape Girardeau; a step-daughter, Eva Huber of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Claude and Frank Kessee, both of Cape Girardeau; two step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a brother and a sister.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel with the Rev. Steven MacDougall officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
