PERRYVILLE -- Floyd Pilger of Perryville died Feb. 25, 1993, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was 66.

He was born Oct. 11, 1926, in St. James, Mo. He was a retired heavy equipment operator engineer with Local 513.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Beulah May Murry Pilger.

His first wife was Dorothy M. Adderbery. They were married in 1946. She survives and is living in Mexico, Mo.

His second wife was Barbara J. Douglas. They were married April 19, 1952. She preceded him in death in 1980.

He then married Edna M. Black on July 5, 1980. She survives and lives in Perryville.

He is survived by one son, Gary Pilger of Centralia, Mo.; one daughter, Starlet Woods of Fulton, Mo.; one stepson, John L. Smith of St. Louis; two stepdaughters, Peggy Lindner of Florissant, Mo., and Patty Mertens of St. Louis; one foster son, Danny Fitzgerald of St. Louis; one sister, Lucille Riney of Mexico, Mo.; five grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren and two foster grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

He was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Crosstown, Mo. He also was a member of the Masonic Temple Lodge No. 670 A.F.& A.M. in Perryville, and was a World War II veteran of the Navy.

Funeral services will be held at Young and Sons Chapel at 2 p.m. Sunday. Friends may call from 4:30-9 p.m. Saturday, or after 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

Masonic services will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in York Chapel Cemetery.

The Rev. Alvin Mathes will officiate.
