Floyd Livingston Jr., 77, of Bell City, Mo., was born Feb. 10, 1930, at Oran, Mo., son of Letha Kirby and Albert Floyd Livingston Sr., and passed away July 21, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Gir­ar­deau. Floyd Livingston Jr., 77, of Bell City, Mo., was born Feb. 10, 1930, at Oran, Mo., son of Letha Kirby and Albert Floyd Livingston Sr., and passed away July 21, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Gir­ar­deau.

Floyd and Betty Jean Arnold were united in marriage on Jan. 13, 1949, at Benton, Mo., and she survives of the home.

Floyd had been a truck driver for 20 years for Kimbell Delta and ABF. He also had been a business agent for the Local Teamsters No. 574 from 1972 to 1979.

Friends and family knew him best as "Boss Hogg." He and his wife moved from Cape Girardeau to Bell City in 1979. They owned and operated Boss Hogg's Cafe in Bell City for seven years. Floyd loved to fish, took great pride in his garden and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Survivors include two daughters, Shari and Brad Eggimann of Cape Girardeau and Marsha and Kim Kremer of Lake of Egypt, Ill.; three brothers, Gene Livingston of Bowling Green, Ky., Joe Livingston of Advance, Mo., and Allen Livingston of Valmeyera, Ill.; two sisters, Mary "Aleta" Robertson of Delta and Sue Long of Cape Gir­ar­deau; two grandchildren, Ty and Katharyn Eggimann of Evansville, Ind., and Kylie and Floyd Scholz of Cape Girar­deau; and CC, his beautiful yellow lab.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 a.m. today with Masonic rites at 6:30 p.m.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Mo. Bro. James McCain will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Bell City, Mo.
