ANNA, Ill. -- Floyd E. Vaughn, 78, Anna Route 2, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 1995, at his home. He was born Jan. 31, 1917, at Anna, son of Jesse and Nellie A. Speck Vaughn. He and Virginia R. Hurst were married July 25, 1939, in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Vaughn was retired from Associated Lumber Co. in Anna. He was a member of First Christian Church in Anna, and the Boat and Yacht Club in Carterville...

ANNA, Ill. -- Floyd E. Vaughn, 78, Anna Route 2, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 1995, at his home.

He was born Jan. 31, 1917, at Anna, son of Jesse and Nellie A. Speck Vaughn. He and Virginia R. Hurst were married July 25, 1939, in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Vaughn was retired from Associated Lumber Co. in Anna. He was a member of First Christian Church in Anna, and the Boat and Yacht Club in Carterville.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Larry and Jimmy Vaughn of Anna; a sister, Lova Treece of Anna; two grandchildren; a stepgranddaughter, and a great-stepgrandson.

He was preceded in death by a grandson.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Steve Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in Casper Cemetery.
