MATTHEWS -- Funeral service for Floyd Clark of Matthews will be held at 2 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Cecil Adams will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
Clark, 75, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Siketon.
He was born March 11, 1922, at Cooter, son of C.B. and Lila Morton Clark. He first married Rachel McCoy, who died in 1970. He and Robbie Robertson were married Nov. 20, 1973, at Matthews.
Clark was retired from Sikeston Regional Diagnostic Center. He had also farmed. He moved to Matthews 30 years ago from Gideon. He was a member of Matthews Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dennis Clark of Austin, Texas, Brian Clark of St. Louis; a daughter, Elaine Bailey of Blytheville, Ark.; five brothers, Lloyd Clark of Dexter, Preston Clark of New Madrid, Edwin Clark of Little Rock, Ark., Willard Clark of Shreveport, La., Russell Clark of Blythe, Calif.; four sisters, Ruby Woodard of Carthage, Melba Chism of Purdy, Doris Belcher of Kansas City, Glenda Hall of Asheville, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
