FLOYD ALLEN LANCE

KARNAK, Ill. -- Floyd Allen Lance, 72, of Karnak, Ill., died Friday, Dec. 17, 1999, at his home.

He was born March 20, 1927, at Pulaski, Ill., son of William Edward and Harriet Annie Atherton Lance.

Lance was retired from the Century School District of Ullin, Ill., where he was a bus driver.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Edward Allen Lance of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Rodney Eugene Lance of Karnak, two grandchildren; one brother, Charles Lance of West Frankfort, Ill.; and one sister, Annie Helen Mellein of Villa Ridge, Ill.

He was preceded in death by two daughters and a brother.

Friends may call at 10 a.m. Monday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Pulaski, Ill.
