Flossie Maxine Dow, 67, of Jackson died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 6, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Jesse Frank and Flossie Pearl Bollinger Wilkinson. She and Clinton Dow were married June 28, 1969. He preceded her in death June 16, 1992.
Flossie was a 1960 graduate of Jackson High School. She was a member of First General Baptist Church of Jackson and Roberts Homemakers Club.
Flossie had worked at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill, was a secretary for Seabaugh Construction in Jackson and worked at the Cape Girardeau County Courthouse in Jackson, retiring in 2004.
She is survived by two sons, Eric (Cindy) Dow of Fruitland, Curtis (Melanie) Dow of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Henry (Karen) Wilkinson of Jackson; three grandchildren, Austin, Griffin and Lachlan Dow; and a close friend, Roy Friedrich.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Luther Rhodes and Kevin Mann officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
