FLOSSIE ALLEN

Flossie Myrtle Allen, 101, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at the Lutheran Home. Allen was born Feb. 3, 1900, at Laflin, Mo., daughter of Phillip Young and Sarah Olive Clanahan. She and Robert Jacob Loos were married Dec. 29, 1928. He died May 14, 1946. She and Ora Jack Smith were married Oct. 15, 1951. He died Jan. 25, 1966. She and Gilbert Allen were married March 5, 1974. He died Dec. 26, 1987...

Flossie Myrtle Allen, 101, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at the Lutheran Home.

Allen was born Feb. 3, 1900, at Laflin, Mo., daughter of Phillip Young and Sarah Olive Clanahan. She and Robert Jacob Loos were married Dec. 29, 1928. He died May 14, 1946. She was a member of Harmony Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Bobby L. Loos of Jackson, Mo.; two daughters, Betty McClanahan of Jackson and Jewell Smith of Hawthorne, Nev.; three grandchildren; a great granddaughter; five stepgrandchildren and six stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a half sister.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel in Jackson, Mo., from 4-8 p.m. Monday.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Don Ford officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
