Florence Sutterer

SERENO, Mo. -- Florence T. Sutterer, 88, of Sereno died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Feb. 26, 1917, in Perryville, Mo., daughter of Fred Joseph and Frances Theresa Huber Sutterer. She and Elmer Joseph Sutterer were married Nov. 5, 1938. He died Dec. 10, 1996.

Sutterer was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality, and Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn Seabaugh and Janet Huber of Cape Girardeau, Judith Pingel of Hillsboro, Mo.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30 to 9:20 a.m. The rosary will be recited at 7 tonight.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Victory Church, with the Rev. Francis Agnew officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
