KEWANEE -- Florence Opal Minehart, 68, of Kewanee, died Monday, Sept. 11, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, from injuries received in an automobile accident.
She was born Sept. 25, 1926, near East Prairie, daughter of John Barton and Nancy Pearl Johnson Zuck. She and Butch Minehart were married May 23, 1943.
Minehart had lived here the past 45 years. She was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church at Marston.
Survivors include three sons, J.W. Minehart of LaForge, Larry and Lee Minehart of Kewanee; three daughters, Linda Pearson and Pansy Glenn of Kewanee, Cathy Barbre of New Madrid; a sister, Myrtle Garner of Wyatt; 20 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren, three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 2 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Tommy Woodcock officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at New Madrid.
