Florence Kitchen
GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Florence "Cricket" Kitchen, 87, of Glenallen died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Elder Care of Marble Hill.
She was born Dec. 1, 1921, in Glenallen, daughter of Walter S. and Effie Gregory Vance. She and William R. "Bill" Kitchen were married May 24, 1941. He died April 26, 2008.
Kitchen was an assembler at the Olin Winchester plant and attended New Trace Creek General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Veda Woods of Charlotte, Mich.; a brother, Thomas "Jack" Vance of Arizona; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and a sister.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will be in McGee Chapel Cemetery near Glenallen.
