CHAFFEE -- Florence Evelyn Harmon, 82, of Chaffee, died Monday, May 29, 1995, at her home.
She was born April 3, 1913, in Gideon, daughter of Fred and Goldie Moore Goodman. She and Sherman William Davenport were married Oct. 19, 1929. He died Jan. 28, 1949. She later married William A. Harmon Aug. 15, 1952. He died Feb. 15, 1985.
Harmon was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Chaffee.
Survivors include four daughters, Frances Slinkard, Elizabeth Cummins, Carletta Streeter and Rhonda Emerson of Chaffee; a stepson, Robert Harmon of Tampa, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Dona Smith of Pekin, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. William Marshall and Jack Hargraves officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
