ORAN, Mo. -- Florence Ann Anderson, 92, of Oran passed away Monday, Jan. 23, 2017, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.
She was born July 22, 1924, in Tacoma, Washington, to the late Marion Allen and Jewel Elizabeth Carey Reed. She married the Rev. G. Earl Anderson on Dec. 12, 1942, and he preceded her in death Sept. 13, 1989.
Florence was a retired seamstress from the Oran Hat Factory. She was a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Florence was a Sunday-school teacher, and also spoke at many different Pentecostal Churches.
Survivors include a son, Scott (Shirley) Anderson of Jackson; a daughter, Nancy (Richard) Upchurch of Lamesa, Texas; two grandchildren, April Upchurch of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Adrian Anderson of Jackson.
She also was preceded in death by an infant brother; and two sisters, Jewell Elizabeth Reed and Mary Alice Eakin.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Gene Warren officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery near Morley, Missouri.
