PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Flora E. Ruesler, 88, of Perryville, died Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born May 30, 1912, at Rosebud, Mo. She married Clarence E. "Speedy" Obermeyer, who died May 28, 1985. She married Erich Ruesler, who died Jan. 1, 2000...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Flora E. Ruesler, 88, of Perryville, died Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 30, 1912, at Rosebud, Mo. She married Clarence E. "Speedy" Obermeyer, who died May 28, 1985. She married Erich Ruesler, who died Jan. 1, 2000.

Ruesler retired from Florsheim Shoe Co.

Survivors include a daughter, Elvina McGee of Perryville; a son, Gary Obermeyer of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Sarah Withworth of Joplin, Mo.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday. The parish wake is at 7:30 tonight.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
