FLORA LANCASTER

SIKESTON -- Flora E. Lancaster, 89, of Sikeston died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 9, 1910, in Monette, Ark., daughter of Frank W. and Laura Lee Weatherford Roy. She married Otis M. Lancaster Dec. 8, 1928, in Lake City, Ark. He died Jan. 27, 1990.

Lancaster was a charter member of First Christian Church in Matthews, and member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 137 in Sikeston.

Survivors include two sons, Bill Lancaster of Sikeston, Bob Lancaster of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Fern Mulvey of Torrance, Calif.; a brother, Odis Roy of Pomona, Calif.; a sister, Opal Boardman of Pomona; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister, and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Caston Countz officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
