PERRYVILLE -- Flora L. Hamper, 85, of Perryville, died Wednesday, March 13, 1996, at her home. She was born May 1, 1910, at Perryville, daughter of Emmanuel E. and Mary M. Hansen Hoffstetter. She and Jack Hamper were married July 26, 1942. He died Nov. 4, 1959...

PERRYVILLE -- Flora L. Hamper, 85, of Perryville, died Wednesday, March 13, 1996, at her home.

She was born May 1, 1910, at Perryville, daughter of Emmanuel E. and Mary M. Hansen Hoffstetter. She and Jack Hamper were married July 26, 1942. He died Nov. 4, 1959.

Hamper formerly owned and operated Fred's Florist. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary to Post 133, and VFW Auxiliary to Post 4282.

Survivors include a son, Jack Hamper of Perryville; a sister, Alma Baue of Frohna, and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by five brothers.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Craig Otto officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Church Cemetery.
