SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Mrs. Flora E. Crouthers of Sikeston will be held at 1 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Lee Brummel and Tom Geers will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Crouthers, 85 years old, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 1990, at Sells Rest Home in Matthews.
She was born April 22, 1905, in New Madrid County, daughter of Robert Lee and Maggie Elizabeth Hawes Weaks. She married Edgar E. Crouthers May 21, 1927. He died April 27, 1979.
Mrs. Crouthers was a member of First Christian Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include a daughter, Jeannie White of Jackson, Miss.; a brother, Jake Weaks of Sikeston; a sister, Lillian Acord of Sikeston; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
