FLORA A. MAINTZ

OAK RIDGE -- Flora A. Maintz, 95, of Oak Ridge died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 7, 1897 at Friedheim, the daughter of Daniel and Louise Tuschhoff.

She married William F. Maintz on Sept. 25, 1927 at Friedheim. He died on Aug. 18, 1961.

Surviving are one son, Bill Maintz of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Flora Meier of Washington, N.C.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Two brothers preceded her in death.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Friedheim and had lived at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau for the past 2 years.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson from 6-9 p.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the Kurreville Cemetery.
