BURFORDVILLE -- Firman "Duck" White, 66, of Burfordville, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 1992, in Jackson.
He was born Jan. 13, 1926, at Randles, son of Harley Lucas and Virgie Viola Skaggs White. He and Mable Lucille Fox were married Oct. 16, 1992.
White was a truck driver with McDonald Concrete Inc. in Cape Girardeau, retiring in 1971. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Jackson, VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau, and Marble Hill Eagles 4178.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Bruce White of Chaffee; two daughters, Carol Borgfield of Jackson, Pam Tenkhoff of Oran; three brothers, Drake White of Jackson, Lindell White of Detroit, Mich., Leonard White of Iowa; a sister, Kathleen Slinkard of Chaffee, and four grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Rodney Travis will officiate, with burial in Higdon Cemetery at Higdon.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
