SCOTT CITY -- Fern Ham, 84, of Scott City, died Monday, Oct. 31, 1994, at Jackson Manor in Jackson. She was born April 20, 1910, in Illmo, daughter of Francis Marion and Narcissa Ida Penrod McBride. She and Paul Albert Ham were married Sept. 20, 1937, in Cape Girardeau. He died April 10, 1965...

SCOTT CITY -- Fern Ham, 84, of Scott City, died Monday, Oct. 31, 1994, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.

She was born April 20, 1910, in Illmo, daughter of Francis Marion and Narcissa Ida Penrod McBride. She and Paul Albert Ham were married Sept. 20, 1937, in Cape Girardeau. He died April 10, 1965.

Ham was a member of Illmo Baptist Church, and past member of Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include a son, John Paul Ham of Scott City; a daughter, Carron Sander of Scott City; a sister, Rose Brooks of Pensacola, Fla.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren, and three great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Illmo Baptist Church, with the Revs. Lee Holland and Rennie Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
