Ferdinand A. Peetz, 77, Cape Girardeau Route 2, died Friday, Dec. 11, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Nov. 12, 1915, at Tilsit, son of Ferdinand A. and Emilie Burgfeld Peetz Sr. He and Andora Keller were married March 5, 1939, at Tilsit.
Peetz worked the family farm more than 52 years, and was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Elmer Peetz of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Barbara Sample of Boca Raton, Fla.; a brother, Otto Peetz of Gordonville, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister and brother.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. James Caughlan will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today, and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to service time.
