Freda O. A. Hunt, 80, of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, Feb. 25, at her home.
She was born in Ardeola, on Aug. 25, 1913, to William A. and Arra Ashabranner Allen.
On July 9, 1943, she married George C. Hunt, at Blytheville, Ark.
He survives, along with one daughter, Marcia Finley of Arlington, Tex.; five sisters, Rose Dasovich of Cape Girardeau, Christine Dockens and June Tyler, both of Dallas, Tex., Maggeline Miles of San Antonio, Tex., and Albertine Mainer of Kingsville, Tex. One grandson also survives.
She was preceded in death by one sister and a son-in-law.
Hunt was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Cape Girardeau, and served as superintendent of the church's nursery department.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., today, at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
Funeral services will be held Monday, at 11 a.m., at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. James C. Dockens and the Rev. Ted Miles officiating.
Burial will be in the Lorimier Cemetery.
