PERRYVILLE -- Fayette (Faye) J. LaRose of Perryville died Saturday, July 3, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was 78.
She was born Aug. 24, 1920, in Kaskaskia Island, Ill., daughter of Francis and Clara Lipscomb Buatte. She was married to Valmer LaRose on Aug. 10, 1942.
She had worked as a machine operator for International Shoe Co. in Perryville. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived by two daughters, Gail Reiss of Perryville and Sandy Wills of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Muriel Hart of St. Louis; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters, three brothers and a grandson.
Friends may call between 4:30 and 9 p.m. Monday or from 6:30 to 9:35 a.m. Tuesday at Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. Catholic wake will be held at 7 p.m. Monday.
Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
