ADVANCE -- Faye V. Wilkerson, 74, of Abilene, Texas, died Sunday, Dec. 20, 1998.

She was born May 17, 1924, and was reared in Bell City. She and John M. Wilkerson were married in 1943. He died Dec. 13, 1975.

Wilkerson worked several years at Inland Shoe Co. in Advance. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Abilene.

Survivors include two sons, Donald Wilkerson of Abilene, Rodney Wilkerson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a brother, Ray Heath of Memphis, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5:30-8 p.m. today.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Advance.
