ANNA, Ill. -- Faye Smith, 84, of Anna died Monday, July 24, 2000, at her home.
She was born Nov. 19, 1915, in Dongola, Ill., daughter of John L. and Augusta Peeler Taylor. She and Curtis Smith were married March 9, 1935.
Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Iris Modglin of Ullin, Ill., Kay DaLPonte of Highland Park, Ill., Cathy Garrey of Lake Forest, Ill., Nancy Kiddle of Naples, Fla., Pam Inglish of Kenosha, Wis.; a son, Mike Smith of Anna; a brother, Grant Taylor of Ullin; two sisters, Lenora Canupp of St. Peters, Mo., Almeta Modglin of Ullin; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, and a brother.
Friends may call Wednesday at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola from 11 a.m. to service time.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. George McCommons officiating. Burial will be in Meisenheimer Cemetery.
