CHARLESTON -- Faye Moore, 94, of Charleston, died Monday, June 21, 1993, at Charleston Manor.
She was born Aug. 22, 1898, at Benton, daughter of Eugene Herbert and Stella Rowe Smith. She and Ben B. Moore were married Dec. 29, 1920. He died Nov. 26, 1989.
Moore had worked for the U.S. Postal Service. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, its United Methodist Women, and served as pianist for her Sunday School class many years.
Survivors include two sons, Benjamin Moore of Charleston, Joseph Moore of Bloomfield; a daughter, Faye Ely of Burlington, Vt.; a sister, Lois Shaw of Kirkwood; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church. The Rev. Richard Combs will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
