JACKSON -- Faye M. King, 76, of Jackson died Friday, July 16, 1999, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 26, 1923, daughter of Homer and Ellen Estes Mansker.
On Dec. 4, 1945, she was married to Buford E. King. He died May 10, 1995.
She attended First Baptist Church in Jackson. She was employed at the International Shoe Co. in Jackson from 1960 to 1969 and worked at the Fruitland Livestock Auction Barn from 1969 to 1973.
She is survived by five sons, Roger King of Ellijay, Ga., Michael King of Oak Ridge, Randy and Robin King, both of Jackson, and Terry King of Dutchtown; a daughter, Debra Farris of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Herschel Mansker of St. Louis; a sister, Cleo Jones of Cape Girardeau; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Fruitland, with the Rev. Don Estes officiating.
