JACKSON -- Faye Anderson Forshee, 90, of Jackson died Wednesday, May 17, 1995, at her home. She was born Dec. 22, 1904, to William and Nancy Hansel Anderson in Cape Girardeau County. She married Lytle L. Forshee of Ironton on May 23, 1935. He preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 1982...

JACKSON -- Faye Anderson Forshee, 90, of Jackson died Wednesday, May 17, 1995, at her home.

She was born Dec. 22, 1904, to William and Nancy Hansel Anderson in Cape Girardeau County.

She married Lytle L. Forshee of Ironton on May 23, 1935. He preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 1982.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Forshee of Nashville and Thomas Forshee of Louisville, Ky.; three sisters, Vera Jackson of Cape Girardeau, Jean McDowell of Jackson and June McDowell of Jackson and six grandchildren.

Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Forshee retired from elementary school teaching in 1971 after 13 and a half years with the Kansas City public school system. She also taught at Oran, New Wells, Ashland, Independence and Ironton.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson and the Perdue-Lear Circle.

Friends may call McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson today between 4-8 p.m.

Funeral service will be at the funeral home Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Grant Gillard officiating.

Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
