JACKSON -- Graveside service for Farrell W. Marler of Jackson will be held at 2 p.m. today at Russell Heights Cemetery. The Rev. Otto Steinhaus will officiate.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to service time.
Marler, 65, died Thursday, April 14, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born July 31, 1928, at Flat River, son of William and Alice Wilson Marler. He and Valerie Faenger were married May 3, 1957, at Bonne Terre.
Marler worked at Wetterau in Scott City from 1955 until retiring in 1982 as dispatcher and truck driver. He coached fast-pitch softball more than 20 years.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Daniel Marler of Minot, N.D.; three daughters, Celeste Bishop of Springfield, Sara Grebing of Frohna, Alice Marler of Jackson, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
