CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Fannie Davis, 86, formerly of Charleston, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002, at DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton, Mo.
She was born May 3, 1916, in Olmsted, Ill., daughter of Ida Mae Williams and William Barnett. She and John Davis were married in 1932 in Olmsted. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Fannie Beck, Rose and Lavern Davis of St. Louis; four sons, J.W. and Clarence Davis of Seattle, Wash., Sylvester Davis of Charleston, Rodger Davis of Detroit, Mich.; 34 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at St. Matthew Baptist Church after 1 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church, with the Rev. Melvin Williams officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
