MALDEN -- Fannie Mae Brown, 56, of Malden died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 18, 1942, in New Madrid, daughter of Henry P. Wade and Jettie Patterson. She and Cleveland Brown were married May 6, 1972, in New Madrid.
Brown attended Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Michael Brown of Brooklyn, N.Y., Robin Brown of Kingston, Jamaica, Ronald Wright of St. Paul, Minn.; six daughters, Dawn Brown of Kingston, Marcia Brown and Sharyl Lewis of Newark, N.J., Rachel Hodges of Cape Girardeau, Sabrina Minner of New Madrid, and Dimitri Owens of St. Louis.
Also surviving is her father of Houston, Texas; her mother of New Madrid; six brothers, Charles Herron and James Patterson of Decatur, Ill., Howard Herron of New Madrid, Patrick Patterson of Jefferson City, Willie Patterson of Aurora, Ill., Henry Wade Jr. of Kansas City, Kan.; five sisters, Ramona Black of New Madrid, Eva Murray of Carbondale, Ill., Anita Patterson of Blytheville, Ark., Sheila Patterson of Smyrna, Ga., Frances Wade of Portland, Ore.; and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and stepfather.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Macedonia Church, with the Rev. Lawrence Williams officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at New Madrid.
Friends may call at the church Monday from noon until service time.
