Fahren Gillespie

MOUNT PLEASANT, Ill.--Fahren M. Gillespie, 84, of Mount Pleasant died Saturday, June 22, 2002, at Hillview Nursing Home in Vienna, Ill.

She was born June 21, 1918, at Balcom, Ill., daughter of Henry and Effie Shipman Aden. She and Walter Olen Gillespie were married Jan. 21, 1939, at Jackson, Mo.

Gillespie was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Sue Craig and June Howard both of Mount Pleasant; one son, Mickey Gillespie of Pawnee, Ill.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, Ill., from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lutz and Rendleman. The Rev. Gilbert Gee will officiate, with burial at McGinnis Cemetery.
