SIKESTON -- Evia Hannah Calhoun, 79, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, April 20, 1993, at Baptist Central Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
She was born Sept. 26, 1913, at Hiram, daughter of George Edward and Lottie Sumpter McKenzie. She and James E. Calhoun were married Jan. 29, 1934, at Matthews.
Calhoun was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, James Calhoun of Philo, Ill.; two daughters, Anita Hahs of Sikeston, Linda Greeson of Eldon; a brother, Wayne McKenzie of Parma; three sisters, Ruth Greenwood of Nashville, Tenn., Lena Harrison and Thelma Allen of Parma; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jim Guffie will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
