PATTON -- Everett Ray "Pat" Yamnitz, 94, of Patton died Saturday, July 12, 1997, at Perry Oaks Nursing Home in Perryville.
He was born March 16, 1903, in Patton, son of Henry and Clara Jane Johnson Yamnitz. He married Lona Reagan on Sept. 24, 1924. She died Oct. 31, 1994.
He was a retired farmer and member of the Mount Zion Lutheran Church in Yount.
He is survived by a son, Henry Yamnitz of Patton; three daughters, Mary Fulton of Patton, Clara Hahn of Pevely and Shirley Welker of Ste. Genevieve; two brothers, Raymond Yamnitz and Lancie Yamnitz, both of Patton; a sister, Esther Welker of Patton; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton, with the Rev. W.D. Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Yount Community Cemetery.
