BLOOMFIELD -- Everett "Bud" Lackey Jr., 70, of Bloomfield, died Monday, April 18, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 31, 1923, at Mesler, son of Everett and Minnie Woodward Lackey. He married the former Leona Lee.
Lackey lived most of his life in Michigan, moving to Bloomfield in 1985. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Everett Lackey III of Detroit, Mich.; a daughter, Shirley Gurevich of Tawas City, Mich.; two sisters, Wilma Litteral of Dexter, Bonnie King of Puxico; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Vyron Yount officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Bell City.
