Evelyn Wille

Evelyn Rose Wille, 91, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Jackson, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 12, 1920, in St. Louis, to John M. and Bertha Chilton Green.

She and Adolph Wille were married Aug. 29, 1947, at St. Charles, Mo.

Early in her career she worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.

Evelyn is survived by a son, Chester Davidson, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two stepbrothers.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, with the Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating.
