EAST PRAIRIE -- Evelyn Fleming Roach, 72, of Sikeston and formerly of East Prairie, died Friday, June 11, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Aug. 1, 1926, in East Prairie, daughter of William and Mary Adams Roach. She and James D. Roach were married Feb. 13, 1943.
She had lived in Sikeston for 12 years and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She was a retired seamstress.
Survivors include a daughter, Rita Roach-Noetzel of Peoria, Ill.; two sons, Ricky Roach of Sikeston and Danny Roach of Dover, Del.; five sisters, Modena Skaggs of East Prairie, Ruby Flowers and Jewell Young, both of Princeton, Ky., Maybelle Inman of Macedonia, Ill., and Linda Cogdill of Peoria, Ill.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will be in the Dogwood Cemetery.
