EVELYN PATTERSON

SIKESTON -- Evelyn Rosetta Ross Patterson, 62, died Friday, Nov. 14, 1997, at her home in Sikeston.

She was born in Parma, Sept. 16, 1935, daughter of Elmer L. and Ruby Jordan Ross.

She was a nurse for Dr. A.P. Sargent. She was a member of the Trinity Gospel Church.

She married Basil McConnell Nov. 10, 1951. He died July 5, 1958.

She is survived by a daughter, Teri Lynn Rapert of Charleston; a brother, Bud Ross of Morehouse; two sisters, Freeda VanPelt of Manhattan, Kan., and Imogene Massey of Sikeston; and a special friend, Hanen Causey of Sikeston.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and sister.

Service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home, with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Interment will be in Bernie City Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
