Evelyn L. Bowden, 82, of 2001 N. Kingshighway died Feb. 8, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born Feb. 20, 1910, in Illmo, Mo., to John Logel and Amelia Simpher Logel. On Oct. 24, 1925, she married John Edward Theodore Bowden in Cape Girardeau. He died Nov. 23, 1987...
Evelyn L. Bowden, 82, of 2001 N. Kingshighway died Feb. 8, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 20, 1910, in Illmo, Mo., to John Logel and Amelia Simpher Logel.
On Oct. 24, 1925, she married John Edward Theodore Bowden in Cape Girardeau. He died Nov. 23, 1987.

Survivors include one daughter, Doris Lemons of Cape Girardeau; one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Thursday at the Lorimier Cemetery with the Rev. Ernest Schwartz officiating.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
