JACKSON -- Funeral mass for Evelyn J. Nanney of Jackson was held Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Msgr. Edward Eftink and Rev. Michael Zoellner officiated, with burial in St. Maurus Cemetery at Biehle.
McCombs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Nanney, 50, died Friday, Feb. 12, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 30, 1942, at Friedheim, daughter of Murphy and Corene Berkbigler Kirn.
Nanney had worked at Ralph Edwards, Jackson Hosiery Mill, Chateau Girardeau, and had been a surgery transport technician at St. Francis Medical Center since 1985. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and St. Ann's Sodality.
Survivors include two sons, Travis and Chris Nanney of Jackson; a daughter, Michelle Nanney of Jackson; a brother, Milford Kirn of Jackson; two sisters, Shelvy Ahrens of Friedheim, and Laverne Newell of Jackson.
