Evelyn Hinkle Garling, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born May 28, 1921, at Lavow, daughter of William A. and Mabel Skaggs Cora. She first married William Hinkle Aug. 1, 1946, in Cape Girardeau. He died Sept. 4, 1980. She later married Eugene Garling in 1984.
Garling was a charter member of First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include a son, John Hinkle of Carbondale, Ill., and a brother, Charles Cora of Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. William Burke officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
