EVELYN D. PRESSON

EAST PRAIRIE -- Evelyn D. Presson, 78, of St. Louis, died Sunday, May 5, 1991, at the Lutheran Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Nov. 2, 1912, in Marmaduke, Ark., daughter of Joe and Willie E. Carter Rice. She married Donald Issac Presson in December 1927. He died Aug. 1, 1969.

Mrs. Presson moved to St. Louis a number of years ago from East Prairie. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Bourbon.

Survivors include four sons, Hubert Presson of Bourbon, Donald Presson of Cuba, Mo., Kenneth Presson of Fenton, Michael Presson of St. Louis; a daughter, Sandra Crowley of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Dogwood Cemetery near here, with the Rev. Don Thompson officiating.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
